Chapter Twelve: Time Alone
So Byrd went to Texas on Sunday and Brad and the boys went to North Carolina Thursday morning leaving me home-alone. With no car. The silence has been therapeutic and the alone time has forced me to do many things that I have been avoiding. I mentioned the other day that I am really working on my branding. I have the most incredible team of people that I am working with to help advise me along the way. Caroline of Paloma's Nest, as well as Handcrafted Consulting delved head first into my shop review and her pointers have been amazingly helpful. I have added all my shipping policies to my site as well as added International shipping!!!!!! So you don't even have to email me ;). Just shop away. I am working with the incredible Jenn Gietzen on some more branding options, meeting with Crafted Westside where I will possibly sell my art and oh my gosh the amazing Laura of Very Fine South to discuss a possible collaboration. And then there is my friend Liz Lewis of The Nouveau Romantics who is pushing me to do some homework on what I REALLY want and where I want to go with the brand. Even though Liz is the owner and creative genius behind the full service event planning and design studio The Nouveau Romantics, she is really good at business development.
My ongoing collaboration with Alessandra Salituri of Citizen Atelier is a gift. I swear we are just a match made in artist heaven. We are working together to expand my brand and we have some exciting plans in the works. One of which will be on Domaine Home Monday, July 21st so keep your eyes wide open!
I have taken down the notecards for now as I am concentrating on the fine art. If you are dying for them, let me know-I can work something out for you I am sure.
Oh and that cool tape up there will now be on all my packaging! Isn't it awesome?
