Chapter Fourteen: New
My love for flowers runs deep. I am constantly finding something new that I want to capture and keep alive. I add new prints to the shop weekly. I know it is confusing and overwhelming to see so much beauty on a few pages. I receive emails on a regular basis saying "How do I decide?" I have a hard time too, to be honest, because I want them all. I tend to respond to this question by saying "Pick the one that reaches you. Touches you. The one that might have some meaning to YOU. If it is going in your living room, make a statement. Go big. If it is going in a nursery, pick a few that you love to hang side by side. When I frame, I use a very simple black frame on the dark images. No matting. And always use the non-reflective glass. The cost is minimal and the result is phenomenal. On the light images I am really loving the lucite. If you don't want to go so modern/industrial, choose something simple. A white frame would be lovely. Metallics work as well. Just keep it simple. The flowers speak for themselves. Today and tomorrow I am offering a 15% discount on all prints. I took an amazing watercolor yesterday to be framed and oh my goodness-it is just expensive. So to show my appreciation I am offering this discount. the discount code is frame1.
